NDP, UNDER ARMOUR CREATE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM PLATFORM                                                                                                                    

NDP Lacrosse and Under Armour announced on Thursday that they have created an All-Tournament Team platform, DICK’S Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions presented by Pasco County All-Tournament Team Powered by Under Armour, that will honor top players at this year’s DICK’S Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions presented by Pasco County. The national championship will be held Dec. 29-31 in Wesley Chapel, Fl.

The tournament, now in its tenth year, features five boys’ divisions: high school elite (varsity), high school rising stars (JV), 15U, 13U and 11U. As part of this new All-Tournament platform, ten players from each division will be honored on the final day of the event.

Since the tournament’s inception, the most valuable player of each championship game has been honored. The award is currently regarded as the Under Armour Championship Game Most Valuable Player.

“It has been a joy watching some of the game’s best young talent compete for national championships at this event since 2006,” said Josh Gross, vice president of business operations for NDP Lacrosse. “Working hand-in-hand with Under Armour to continually enhance this event, and others, has been a tremendous process. We can’t wait to see what this year’s teams have in store. It promises to be another memorable event!”
