SOLD-OUT DICK’S SPORTING GOODS COLORADO CUP RELEASES TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

NDP Lacrosse is proud to announce that the tournament schedule for the sold-out 2009 Dick’s Sporting Goods Colorado Cup, to be held this Saturday and Sunday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., has been released.
The tournament, which has increased in size by 31% from last year, will feature 55 boys’ teams in eight divisions.
“The demand to participate was higher than it has ever been,” said Brian Tatum, NDP Lacrosse’s Director of Operations. “We’re thrilled to announce that for the second straight year the tournament is sold out.”
Games start at 8 AM each morning, with champions crowned in each division on Sunday afternoon.
“As always, our goal is to exceed the expectations of the players, coaches, sponsors and spectators,” said Tatum. “Based on the growth we have experienced annually, it’s fair to say that people always walk away from this tournament with a smile and memories to last a lifetime.”
The Dick’s Sporting Goods Colorado Cup is an official qualifying tournament of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions, the club lacrosse national championship. The winning teams in the U15 competitive, high school elite and rising stars divisions will receive bids to compete for the national championship.
